Anal Sex For Woman
Anal play can also be psychologically arousing. Because anal sex for women is still somewhat of a societal taboo, the thought of breaking that taboo provides excitement for many. Then there is the dynamic of dominance and submission. The idea of giving over all parts of their body to a partner can be a huge mental turn on. Still, other women like to play anally and vaginally at the same time because they imagine being penetrated by more than one person (and many enjoy the actual experience too).

Since the anus is full of mucous membranes and much more likely to tear than the vagina, the risk of HIV transmission through anal sex for women is higher. There are two ways to protect yourself against HIV transmission via both anal and vaginal sex:
Another aspect of anal pleasure and health is to make sure the anus is fully warmed up before engaging in any kind of penetration. This means using lube to massage the opening of the anus until it is relaxed. Warm up prevents tearing and infection.
Finally, make sure that anything you are inserting into the anus has been thoroughly cleaned or sterilized. Any sex toy you purchase includes safe cleaning instructions which you should follow before and after use. Make sure to also wash your hands and penis thoroughly before engaging in anal sex with a woman.
For some people (both men and women), anal sex is one of their deepest desires. Yet it is also an incredibly delicate topic. If you want to talk to your partner about having anal sex and are worried about how they might react, it can be helpful to discuss it in the presence of a sex coach. A sex coach can alleviate fears and misconceptions as well as talk you through all of the different options for anal play.
While sometimes taboo, anal sex is a form of intimacy that can be enjoyed by people of all genders and sexual orientations. Now, the act seems to be on the rise among heterosexual women in particular.
A British study, published on August 11, 2022, in BMJ, pooled data from the National Survey of Sexual Attitudes and Lifestyle. The researchers found that anal sex among heterosexual people ages 16 to 24 has more than doubled in recent decades, going from about 13 percent to nearly 30 percent. In the United States, rates are even higher: About 36 percent of women and 42 percent of men ages 18 to 44 reported having anal sex at least once, per the CDC (PDF).
Due to the nature of the area, and the potentially high amounts of bacteria and parasites it can contain, anal sex can carry a higher risk of infection from not only sexually transmitted infections (STIs), but other infections, such as giardia or shigella. For those reasons, condoms are extra important when having anal sex. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) more than 90 percent of anal cancer is caused by HPV, an STI that around 40 percent of men in the United States have and for which there is no screening for men.
Bennett recommends using water- or silicone-based lube with latex condoms, since oil-based lube can break down latex. She also recommends putting lube both on the inside and outside of the condom to increase sensation. If using an internal condom, take the inner ring out for anal sex.
Hemorrhoids are enlarged and swollen veins around the outside of the anus or in the lower rectum. Although they can be uncomfortable, Dweck says if bleeding during or after anal sex is caused by hemorrhoids, it usually stops on its own and is nothing to worry about. Also, using plenty of lubricant can help prevent bleeding if you do have hemorrhoids, she says.
If you do bleed during or after anal sex, Dweck says to wait until the bleeding stops and then wash with soap and water if that is comfortable to ensure the area is clean. She also recommends a sitz bath, which can be helpful anyway for someone who needs hemorrhoid relief.

Ways HIV Can Be TransmittedEspañol (Spanish)MinusRelated PagesHow is HIV passed from one person to another? Most people get HIV through anal or vaginal sex, or sharing needles, syringes, or other drug injection equipment (for example, cookers). But there are powerful tools to help prevent HIV transmission.
In an August 11 editorial in the journal The BMJ, colorectal surgeons in Sheffield, England wrote that health professionals and government health organizations "may be failing a generation of young women" by skipping conversations about anal-sex safety. An estimated 30% of heterosexual women in the United States have had anal sex, according to a 2016 study.
Since women have more complex pelvic floor systems than men, anal-sex preparation and safety strategies are of increased importance, authors Dr. Lesley M. Hunt and Dr. Tabitha Gana wrote. Without them, there's an increased risk for sexually transmitted infections, fecal incontinence, anal tumors, they wrote.
Women also tend to have more fragile skin around their anus, making them more susceptible to injuries like anal fissures, bleeding, and pain, New York City-based anal surgeon Dr. Evan Goldstein told Insider.
Goldstein, who also founded anal sex care brand The Future Method, said stigma around anal sex as "dirty" or reserved for gay men stops people from correctly preparing and caring for themselves after butt play.
"What we find at our practice is that opposite-sex couples are so curious, and they're craving expert-led education around anal sex because they want to try it out, but they want to know how to do it the right way," Goldstein told Insider.
Anal fissures, or a small tear inside the anus, and outer anal tears are some of the most common anal-sex injuries, said Goldstein. Minor ones may go away on their own, but more serious cases may require surgery.
The authors of The BMJ editorial also warned of fecal incontinence, when a person loses control of their bowel movements. This can happen as a result of anal sex if penetration damages the anal sphincter muscle, which has nerves that regulate bowel-movement control. Treatment could include surgery, medications, and pelvic floor therapy.
"If you know you're going to have anal sex, try steering clear of foods you know to upset your stomach, including coffee and oily or spicy foods," he said. Instead, eat high-fiber foods, which make bowel movements easier by bulking your stool, which encourages complete bowel evacuation.
We can see from the above results that there are multiple reasons why women like anal sex. It should be noted that most survey respondents choose not just a single reason, but multiple reasons why they enjoy anal.
Interestingly, we discovered that the most popular positions among women for anal sex involved facing away from their partner. These positions may be popular due to the angle they create or the depth of penetration they allow for. However, it could simply be due to the partners not being face-to-face.
In our very first finding of this study, we discovered that almost two-thirds of women like anal sex. Next, we decided to investigate how enjoyable receiving anal sex is when compared to penile-vaginal sex.
With 81.7% of women experiencing pain during the first time receiving anal sex and only 41% of women finding anal sex pleasurable, this may indicate a lack of adequate knowledge from the giving partner or inadequate communication between both partners.
We began this survey by collecting basic demographic information. Those who had never received penile-anal sex were disqualified, as were non-female respondents. All respondents were over the age of 18 with a mean age of 41. After this filtering process, we were left with a total of 1,260 respondents:
Your assertion that stats show that the majority of women enjoy anal sex is laughable. There are absolutely women who enjoy anal sex, but there are many, many other women who dont and who would rather pluck their own eyes with toothpick. The article seems to push the thought that all women should want to and engage with anal sex. This is not about sexual freedom or self expression, rather it is covert misogyny. Its staggering and horrific to see the stats around the number of women who experience pain when engaging with anal sex and the high percentage of women of women who dont enjoy that pain.
I had my first anal sex when I was 52. My bf was 25 then. He is very hung. He convinced me to try. He was very loving and caring. Even then, it hurt like hell. I screamed and cried. But in the end, it turned out to be a marvelous experience. After about 7-8 times, i could bear the pain and started actually loving it. I do get orgasms in anal. It is a beautiful thing to experience. I like lying down on my stomach, usually with a pillow under. I enjoy as he kisses me and fondles my breasts while doing anal.
Chie (32 years old), a mature woman who has become crazy because she is too perverted. Anyway, I love SEX. Chie's propensity is a super metamorphosis that she likes fathers, smells, licks anal, slaps, spanking, and has a desire to be polluted
We would like to acknowledge Dr. Debby Herbenick for her contributions to the development of survey items for this study. We would like to thank Dr. Nicole S. Zelin for her participation in drafting and reviewing literature for the manuscript. We would also like to thank Dr. Jennifer Arter & Dr. Sybil Lockhart for their contributions to the pilot qualitative research phase, and preliminary qualitative analysis.
Like unprotected vaginal intercourse, unprotected anal intercourse is a high-risk for many sexually transmitted infections, such as chlamydia, gonorrhea, herpes, hepatitis, intestinal parasites, HIV, HPV, and syphilis. Use condoms during anal sex to decrease the risk of sexually transmitted infections. 2ff7e9595c
